The operational need
One clear queue for a venue with many experiences.
Dining, bowling, billiards and trampoline guests may all be waiting at once—but each activity moves differently.
VenueCue gives the front desk one fast workspace to add guests, separate activity queues, track the real elapsed wait and move each visit through its next status.
Working capabilities
Designed for front-desk speed.
- Add a guest with name, mobile number, party size, activity, quoted wait and notes.
- Filter and search the live queue across four venue activities.
- Track elapsed wait automatically and identify guests beyond the quoted time.
- Mark a guest notified, checked in or canceled.
- Save completed and canceled visits to operational history.
- Count current guests and completed check-ins for the day.
Product decision
Useful now. Expandable later.
The first operating version is intentionally focused on the Moody location.
The structure can support additional locations later without complicating today’s staff workflow. Promotional campaigns remain outside the current scope. Operational SMS delivery is prepared as the next connection.
My contribution
From business need to working system.
I defined the workflow, product scope, information structure and operating states around an actual venue use case. The result connects business operations, customer experience and practical software design—not just a static interface.
